Sundays

Community Meal

Sundays starting at 1pm
184 NE Franklin Ave., Bend, OR

Join us each week for a meal together, time for community, and fun!

You are welcome to bring a side or dessert to share, but it is not required.

Lunch starts at 1pm (but it’s totally okay to come late!)

Games and time to hang out after.

**We would love to have you join us for church after, but there is no pressure or obligation to stay either!**

Worship Gathering

At Catalyst Life Alliance, we believe that the Church is more than a gathering once a week- it’s a lifestyle to be lived out every day. We also believe that it is impossible for every person to grow and develop their gifts and calling in a 1-2 hour service once a week. Therefore, we have committed to some monthly rhythms that we hope will grow us as a family toward intentional missional lifestyle development.

Our Monthly Rhythms

First Sunday of the Month: Worship

Every first Sunday of the Month, we host a multi-denominational worship night with Willow House Worship.
Willow House Worship is a collective of musicians and worship leaders from all over Central Oregon who come together once a month for a "whole family" style worship experience where everyone is welcome! This is an awesome opportunity to worship alongside our brothers and sisters in faith, to lift up praises to the King of kings! (Children are welcome to join us for this service too!)

Second and Fourth Sunday of the Month: Teaching

The second and fourth Sunday's of the month are set aside for us to dig into the Word together, learn from each other, ask good questions, and encourage each other in the Word. We teach directly from the Bible, in an exegetical approach. Sometimes we study together verse by verse, while other times, when appropriate, we study topically. We always try to focus on understanding the Bible in light of the culture, context, and original languages of the passage. Wherever possible, we open time up for discussion and questions.

Third Sunday of the Month: Serve

We believe wholeheartedly that to best reflect Jesus to the world around us, we must be serving others. Jesus came to be a servant of all, and calls us to reflect that in how we live. As a church family, we try to cultivate continual hearts of service, where each of us is looking for opportunities to serve in our everyday context- the "Mission in the Mundane" as we like to call it. In addition, once a month, we coordinate an all-church serve project where we work together to love our community through service and genuine care. These serve projects vary from month to month as needs arise. Then on the Third Sunday of the Month, we gather together to share wins and God-moments we've had, talk about why we serve and how important that is, pray for our city, neighbors, and families, and pray for each other. This is a time to connect, edify, encourage, and uplift.

Fifth Sunday of the Month: Community Connection

If we have a fifth Sunday in the month, we use this week as a chance to connect with each other, and with our community. We might host a game night, or maybe have a BBQ in the park, or possible do a whole-church camping trip or float trip. It could be anything that brings us together for fun, fellowship, and enjoying the blessing of community. These events are open to anyone who wants to join us too! Be sure to keep an eye on our social media pages and check back here regularly for what we have planned coming up!

2025 Fifth Sunday Fun!

June 28, 2025

  1. The Giving Plate Distribution Center: Come join us as we bless The Giving Plate by helping to sort and process food donations in preparation for them to be taken to the Community Store. 
  2. A second team will be working on projects at Hearts Unknown Education to help with some cleaning and repairs needed.

June 29, 2025: BBQ in the Park

Come join us for a fun day at Alpenglow park! Bring a dish to share- potluck style. We’ll be grilling up hamburgers and hotdogs. We’ll have games to play for all ages and the park has a water feature for littles to splash around in too. 

Bring a friend and come hang out with us! We’ll meet at the park at 1pm. 

August 29-31, 2025: Church wide camping trip

Come camp with us! Starting Friday night we will be headed out to a remote-ish spot on the Metolius River. There is enough room for multiple tents and vehicles near the site, but carpooling and bunking up (where appropriate) are encouraged. RSVP to let us know you’re coming and to receive more information.

November 30, 2025: Friends-giving

Join us for a celebration of all we have been blessed with in our annual FRIENDS-giving!

Bring a side to share and a friend!

We’ll feast on great food followed by a game night!
